Several attacks has managed to hack Binance causing theft of BTC.
The crypto currency exchange Binance has been the victim for a major security breach, which has resulted in bitcoin being stolen at a value of around USD 41 million.
Binance writes on its website that hackers got hold of a large number of API keys, 2FA codes and potentially other info. The intrusion occurred with the help of phishing, viruses and other attacks.
The people behind the attack managed to transfer over 7,000 bitcoin. Binance has now stopped further withdrawals while the investigation is in progress.
